- "I've carried it into meetings
when I knew I'd want to take notes and would have no table available."

- "I find the Adapt-a-Lap
useful in preventing fatigue and eye strain. It is easy to maintain
correct posture and to keep the reading surface at the optimal distance
from my eyes."
Michael - Author

- " I first discovered Adapt-A-Lap
when I was recovering from shoulder surgery. It allowed me to continue,
uninterrupted, my passion for reading. Now I use it strictly for an
extra pair of hands."

- "I am always looking for
new products to increase my independence. More often than not, many
new products fail to live up to their claims, however, the Adapt-A-Lap
does."

- " I have used it in bed
during my recent illness and am amazed at how wonderfully stable and
convenient it was in a number of positions, making reading without
the use of my hands easy. Now that I am more active, I've discovered
that it even remains in place on a treadmill."

- "I hope that more and more
people see how good this support system is. It is good for those individuals
who have a physical disability as well as seniors who often have trouble
holding heavier books and reading. So, good luck in spreading the
word of its greatness."
Barbara - Extension Librarian

- "We read a lot more because
your board makes it more fun. We don't have to sit still and can read
all over."

- "I've used it in my substitute
teaching as I work with small groups in a circle and needed a place
to lay my book. Teacher's Editions can be so cumbersome and awkward
to manage. The students thought it was wonderful and it freed my hands
for writing. I've used it at home as I relax and do crossword puzzles,
work on my laptop computer or read. I've even used it in the car."

- "Since I retired, reading
has become a much more important part of my life. Fortunately, I received
the Adapt-a-Lap as a gift and with it I read completely relaxed. It
doesn't matter whether I am sitting in my recliner or reading in bed,
there is none of the strain, effort and body positioning necessary
to hold a book. Reading is now much more enjoyable."
Jean -Education Administrator - Retired.

- "I originally purchased
the Adapt-a-Lap for reading but now I use it to hold my notebook computer
everywhere I go. I just stuck on four pieces of Velcro to the bottom
of my computer and the top of the Adapt-a-Lap and now I don't ever
worry about letting it slide off my lap anymore. You should advertise
the Adapt-a-Lap as a portable computer stand because I have never
seen anything that even compares. Thanks, you are the greatest!"

- "My husband was on the look out for
something to make reading easier for me because I read every night. He decided to...get
something for me for Christmas. ...He found your Adapt-a-Lap and knew that was what I
needed. He was so proud of himself for finding this that he wanted me to open it Christmas Eve
when my family was over. Upon opening it, he grabbed it out of my hand and began demonstrating
it for everyone and explaining how happy he was to find this neat invention. Of course, no one
quite understood his excitement over this book holder - but I did!
Later that evening, I read for about 2 hours not realizing all this time had passed by. It was
so comfortable to use. I did not get the usual neck ache and didn't change my reading
position. I can sit in a chair and read for a long time and not feel achy at all. Since
Christmas Eve, I have read three books using the Adapt-a-Lap and will never read another book
without it. Also, I have used it to hold my recipe books while cooking and it is handy - it
keeps my book open and in an upright possition whick makes reading so easy. I am so pleased with
it and will recommed it to all."

- "Thank you so much for sending a new Adapt-a-Lap to
Kendra so quickly!
What a joy it is for me, her Mother, to see her reading without help. She can read
for hours at a time, and have no pain in her neck! That is a real blessing! She has degenerative disk
problem in her neck, but because of the adjusting leg feature on hte AAL she can keep her head straight
and not put stress on her neck."
Verna - Teacher and Mother
- "Just wanted to let you know how much the
adaptalap has helped me to be comfortable reading. It's a marvelous invention and it sure makes it
a pleasure and more comfortable to hold my book in a great position without wearing out my
arthritic hands.
It was a pleasure talking to you today. As mentioned our Sanibel Public Library had it on display
and patrons were permitted to take it home to test it out. This will give you an indication as to
how innovative our library director, Pat Allen is. Suggest you get in touch with other libraries to
market your product. Looking forward to having my own."

- " It has made it possible to read
again! I cannot hold a book or paper without shaking therefore I could not read in bed, which
is my favorite place to read! I also take it with me to church."

- "I used it at home two weeks & found
it very versatile -- in bed, in recliner chair, etc. My wrist get tired because I type too
much, so it was a godsend (well--that's excessive) -- but I want to buy my own for home."
Ann - Librarian evaluating Adapt-a-Lap

- " What a terrific invention! Adapt-a-Lap
has solved my biggest problem as a writer. I do my best writing while camping and hiking in the
wildnerness. With this lightweight, easy-to-pack desk-on-a-pole, I can write anywhere and
concentrate on creating the story instead of ballancing my journal."

- "I am a student and must read 8 to 10 large
textbooks per semester plus all the books I use for my research. The Adapt-a-Lap holds my pages open,
frees my hands, and allows me to read anywhere."
